ppl who pull this “i don’t wanna see non white het couples on screen cuz they are straight” really don’t understand the constant dehumanization of (black) people especially black women who are consistently shown as unworthy of love and angry. i’m obviously not saying that het couples are the only way black women in particular can experience love on screen but a non white het couple will never be on the same level as a white one regardless. lol
